What is City School of Rock?

The School of Rock teaches young musicians how to be in a band. Rockers-in-training learn important life skills – like how to work together, improvise, prepare new material, and perform in front of an audience. It’s a great way to meet other young people interested in rock music, and to learn how to jam- all in a safe and friendly environment.

Who are we for?

School of Rock is  aimed at High School aged (11-18) musicians who are confident on their instrument and want to either join a band, or join up as an already formed band, and receive focused group mentoring/tuition as an original group.

What do we offer?

- Weekly 1 1/2 hr band lessons/practices (after 5pm)
- Membership in a band with players of similar age, musical experience, and interest
- Guidance by a professional, experienced mentor
- Master classes on Instruments/performance/industry
- All gear provided, apart from instruments
- Chances to perform live at gigs
